Gusii nation is excited to have a new voice rocking the airwaves on Inka FM – a digital radio broadcasting in Gusii dialect.
Jared osoro is the new kid on the decks with his sweet voice flowing effortlessly through each word as he reads the day’s news.
I tuned into the news hour and Jared’s gentle but captivating voice was wrapping my ears like a comforting melody.
This super talented journalist unleashed and perfected his news reading skills at RVIBS College’s Media School. The Nakuru-based college has become the training ground for media talents.
Mr Hesbon Kiptoo, the Head of Media School, remembers Jared as a top media student whose discipline and hard work will take him far.
“He was a hard-working student. He understood media is an art and took the mentorship we give here seriously, he is on the path to becoming among top broadcasters in Kenya,” Mr Kiptoo said.
Jared used to host news and programs at the college’s station RVIBS FM together with his squad of the likes of Sammy Young, Rodgers Otieno, Carol Mwihaki, Sarah Theuri, Kish, Zulekha, Frank Kamau, Sakina Ibrahim, Mercy Odhiambo, Kelvin Maroko, Zeki Ombati, Joyce Wanjiku among others.
