Radio 47’s super announcer Dee Presenter 001 has urged students to use the power of the mobile phone to change their lives.
Speaking to students from RVIBS TVET College, Dee said the mobile phone is a game changer in the job market and has given economic power to individuals.
“You have your phone guys, do not wait to finish school and start looking for a job. Use your phone to start creating content and you will earn from it,” Dee said.
She asked students to take advantage of the internet, which has created a platform for the young people, to create jobs.
“You can even be better than us (media entities) with just a mobile phone. Start creating content. Go online, pick a format and start producing content and you will even sell to us,” Dee added.
The talented announcer took time to mentor the students, who are from RVIBS’ Media School, who paid her a visit on Wednesday during an academic trip.
