A team of staff and students from RVIBS College camped as Solai Boys, Nakuru, for an interactive session Wednesday May 11, 2023.
The team, led by RVIBS Registrar Barnabas Kirui, took time to motivate and guide the students on making career choices while still in secondary school.
The students were happy to receive study tips as well as how to prepare for exams.
“Knowing the career you want to pursue in future is key as it will help you make the right decision now,” Kirui told the students.
The team took the students through the various courses that exist in colleges and universities and the requirements.
“We thank you for finding time to come and guide our children. Making career choices is a difficult task for many. They had a chance to ask questions, asanteni,” Veronica Wangari, a parent who attended the academic clinic, said.
Mr Kirui said RVIBS has plans to hold career talks in high schools within Nakuru in its effort to support informed career choices by secondary school students.
