More than 90 students will receive training in technology and entrepreneurship courses without paying a coin, thanks to a World Bank-sponsored initiative at RVIBS TVET College Nakuru.

These students were selected after a rigorous selection process and will benefit from the Kenya Industrial & Entrepreneurship Project (KIEP) and the Strengthening Kenyan Innovation Eco-System (SKIES) project, both sponsored by the World Bank.

RVIBS was chosen to implement the project due to its proven technological and entrepreneurial capabilities.

The KIEP-SKIES project aims to unleash the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in an effort to address Africa’s pressing issue of unemployment.

Catherine Luseno, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her excitement upon learning that she had qualified for the scholarship.
