RVIBS Sponsors Needy Students, Calls for Partnership to Support More Households

Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies has dedicated a chunk of its revenue to educating needy students who come from humble background.

RVIBS director Mr. John Kimemia, while awarding cheques to beneficiaries, said the institution receives many students who need financial aid.

Gitau said there is need to support students in order to help them reach their career goals.

“We have a social responsibility of supporting those in need. Life is about holding each other’s hand in times of need,” Gitau said.

He called on other well wishers to come on board and help educate students from needy households.

“Cases of needy students are many and RVIBS is unable to support all, any other person willing to help is welcome to partner with us,” he said.

Serah Njeri, one of the students sponsored to study from certificate all the way to diploma level, said it is a case of dream come true for her.

“As a beneficiary of this sponsorship program, I am grateful to the RVIBS family and director Mr. John Gitau Kimemia for this opportunity to further my studies, may God bless him,” Njeri said.
