Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies (RVIBS), Nakuru
is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Edukans Kenya under the Wear the Green Future initiative.

This strategic partnership marks a transformative moment for RVIBS as we join hands with Edukans to champion sustainability and circular economy practices within the fashion and textile sector.

The collaboration will see Edukans support RVIBS in integrating green and circular design principles into our fashion and textile training programs. This will equip learners with the skills, mindset, and innovation capacity needed to thrive in an evolving global industry that demands not only creativity but also responsibility.

The MOU will see Edukans support RVIBS in integrating green and circular design principles into fashion and textile training programs.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, RVIBS Executive Chair John Gitau said the MOU aligns with the institution’s mission of producing market ready graduates.

“We are excited about this partnership as it aligns with our commitment to produce industry-ready graduates who are not just technically skilled but also conscious of their impact on the environment,” Gitau said

Through this partnership, RVIBS will develop and implement modules that promote sustainable design, recycling, and ethical production. Students will benefit from exposure to green technologies, mentorship from industry players, and opportunities to work on real-world sustainability challenges.
