Volunteering at RVIBS, a leading TVET in Kenya offers the opportunity to mold the next big thinkers of Kenya. As well as understanding the challenging realities of pursuing higher education in Kenya. Through your stay here with us, you will discover more about yourself in this culturally diverse environment. Our volunteers typically join us for a one or two moths stay, although shorter or longer visits are also possible. During this time, they primarily engage with our students and staff, immersing themselves in their daily activities.
Our students are eager for knowledge and very attentive. They enjoy embracing new trends and ideas from all different parts of the world and will warmly embrace new volunteers with enthusiasm. Many volunteers maintain a connection with the goal of RVIBS to better young minds and frequently return to contribute once again. It’s worth mentioning that once you have experienced RVIBS, it becomes challenging to resist returning.
Volunteer Accommodation
By offering volunteer accommodation, we not only prioritize the well-being and safety of our volunteers, but also cultivate a sense of community and mutual support among like-minded individuals striving to make a positive impact through their volunteer work.
In our secure compound near the college, we typically have six volunteers at a time (although this may vary). They reside in apartments that prioritize safety and security. Each apartment is equipped with two beds, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a sitting room. You will have the opportunity to dine with the college staff for all meals, fostering a sense of togetherness.
To further enhance your experience, we provide a cleaner who takes care of both the cleaning and laundry tasks. Your safety and comfort are of utmost importance to us, ensuring you can focus on unlocking your potential and creating meaningful change. Volunteer accommodation becomes a compassionate home where you can thrive.
At RVIBS, you have the chance to participate in a diverse array of activities that not only benefit the students but also have the potential to positively impact your future lives and careers, especially if you’re a young volunteer of student age. Whether you have aspirations of becoming a teacher, or if your passions and abilities lie in other areas, RVIBS welcomes you with open arms. We offer a wide range of alternative activities, projects, and opportunities for you to engage in. Regardless of your choice, our hope is that you wholeheartedly embrace the charity, learn from the experience, and, of course, thoroughly enjoy it.
