UCESCO Africa Partners With RVIBS, To Support Vulnerable Communities

UCESCO Africa has partnered with Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies (RVIBS) to support vulnerable women and children in Kenya.

The partnership will see the two organisations support vulnerable societies in Nakuru through students-led projects.

We are here to ensure that we continue to support vulnerable women and children through education, health and micro-business boost to lift their families from poverty; and empower them to take charge of their own future,” UCESCOS General Manager Vanessah Walker said during the launch of the partnership om Friday July 28, 2023.

RVIBS, through UCESCO – Africa Students Club, which was launched at the college, will implement projects that support community.

We are happy for this partnership as it will enhance our community support programs,” RVIBS principal Pery Kihumba said.

RVIBS students will also benefit from the partnership as UCESCO – Africa promised to use its networks world over to offer opportunities for internship and attachment as well as exposure to internal experts in fields of study.

“We have experts from all over the word and we will be happy to connect you with them, creating networks that will give you a good job after college should be a top priority in this partnership,” Vanessah told the students.

RVIBS UCESCO Africa club chairperson Wyliff Obiye said the first project will be to visit children’s home in Nakuru and offer care and support to them.

UCESCO – Africa, United Cultural Empowerment and Social Community Organization is a charitable NGO committed to supporting vulnerable women and children with its main office in Kibra Nairobi.
