This website expedites communication and sharing of information, knowledge, and best practices within the institution and with all our stakeholders. These websites will help you have a clear understanding of RVIBS – our vision, mission, our beliefs, and our values.
Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies has been in existence for more than a decade. At RVIBS we convert a learner into a job and wealth creator and an entrepreneur by unleashing his/her full potential through training in both technical and business courses. Over the years we have produced great men and women who have contributed immensely to the economic development of our country.
In our endeavor to alleviate poverty and empower the masses economically, we offer skill training in Cosmetology ( hair and beauty), Hospitality ( food and beverage, catering and accommodation, baking technology, pastry making, Tourism, etc.), Engineering ( electrical and electronics, automotive engineering, agricultural engineering, Building and construction, mechanical engineering, etc.), Fashion design and interior design ( cloth technology, tailoring and dressmaking, interior décor, jewelry, and beadworks, etc. ), Journalism and mass media, ICT, Business, education, and many other courses. They are too many to list all here.
Through prudent and visionary leadership and strong partnerships, RVIBS has established six campuses namely Nakuru campus (Main), Gilgil campus and Njoro campus. It is within our strategic plan to increase our presence in Kenya by establishing more campuses. In ten years’, time we endeavor to be in at least twenty-seven counties in Kenya. This is designed to make us more accessible to learners from all over Kenya.
To give it an international outlook and give our students and staff international experience, RVIBS has established relationships with international bodies and institutions. To name just but a few NOREC through the Norwegian government has helped in international trainer exchange programs which have highly impacted our trainer’s skills and enabled our students to experience international trainers. German SES has provided senior experts who sharpened our trainer’s skills and motivated our students in various skill fields. Stanford University through Stanford seeds trains our leadership team on management and leadership.
