Welcome to DODEL DEPARTMENT, Rift Valley institute of Business Studies.

DODEL, Department of Distance and E-Learning is an Academic Department that provides learning services to students who wish to undertake their study through distance and e-learning modes of study. This blended mode of study caters for professionals from all walks of life and students to study away from the traditional brick and mortar classrooms without interrupting their work and other important schedules.
Our vision is to be an innovative learning center offering quality education through distance and e-learning platforms
Our mission is to provide learners with an opportunity to attain recognized academic and professional qualification at their own convenience.
Our objective is to make higher education more accessible, engaging and beneficial for people everywhere and we currently offer various programmes across a wide range of fields.
The institution shall have the discretion of assigning enrolled students support through the learner’s management system. Most of the learning materials will be downloadable from our learning management system and they may be printed at learners’ cost. Each student is expected to undertake learning activities as guided by the module/unit facilitator.
